Rose Writes

 I like Slice of Life because you get to write and draw pictures. I think I will keep writing because writing is fun. My favorite part of writing every day was drawing on paper but then I learned to type more. Sometimes it was hard to write all of the words. I got better at thinking and sounding out, so I knew what letters I needed. I think I will do this again next year. 

From the mind of Rose: 

I did not finish my test but my teacher said we are going to do another test and I was happy happy.

 I finished my reading test. I was happy because I knew all of the words. The teacher said "If you know all the words you can go onto the other test." I went onto the other test. It was on a lot of snap words. So I finished the snap word test. I had to write all the snap words, the hard words, and the easy words. Then I got to help the other kids on their Chromebooks doing their test too. 

 I was doing a really hard word in my journal. I got my paper to help me figure it out. My paper didn't have that word. My teacher was going to the bathroom. I didn't know what to do. So, I got my ABC chart and chopped it up. I figured out the word. There was still another part. But I figured out that word too. We were doing rhyming words. I wrote the word catch.

 At art I did not finish my crocodile and my alligator but Ms. Booska said, "you can finish this at your classroom."

 

 I went to Jack and Grace's today. Then my mom said "do you wont to come for a walk too?" Then Jack and Grace's mom said, "Sure." We went for a walk. Adi asked Jack if he was riding his bike. Then Ava and Sebby came. We ended up back at our house. We played with our toys. Then we walked Ava and Bradley back home. We came home to write our Slice of Life. 

I went to the store today. At Target, we bought pool noodle squirters. They were really tall. Mine touched the ground, but it didn't get dirty. I was happy. Then, my mom said, "We have to go to Home Goods." We didn't buy anything there because there was nothing that my mom liked. After shopping, we went to the school cleanup. We picked up Wren's friend, Sophia. We had fun at the cleanup. We didn't really help cleanup. Mommy did. 

I went to my sister's soccer practice and I played soccer with my dad. I did a big kick. Then, my sister took drink of my water and I did not like it. I was sad. After practice, I went home with my dad to get gas. We were heading back to see where my mom and Adi were. They were walking home. They were close to home. I said, "I want to walk with mom." So my dad stopped the car and I jumped out. 

 I went to the doctors twice, yesterday and today. My tummy was hurting again. "My tummy hurts," I told my mom.  "You need medicine," the doctor said.  I took the medicine on the ride home. I got a drink of water. My tummy felt better. 

 I was sick. "My tummy hurts," I told my mom. I stayed home from school. I went to the doctor at 1:00. "Good, I'm not sick," I said after the doctor. I felt better.

 

 

Yesterday I rode my scooter to soccer it was a long walk. There were big hills, and it was hard to ride on them. I fell on the sidewalk. I was bleeding on my knee. When I got to soccer I played soccer with Dad. It was fun. 

 

Yesterday I went to New York to see Wicked. I saw flying monkeys. Then I left the theater. There was a long line for the bathroom but then it got shorter and shorter. Next, we took a long walk to dinner. We had good french fries. After that, we left New York. I liked it and want to go back. 

In our house, many nights, at dinner, we share the best part of our day (our peach) and the worst part of the day (our pit). Today, we spent the whole day in New York City. We walked around and then we saw Wicked. On our ride home, we shared our peaches and pits. Our mom wrote them down and that's our slice for the day: Me:  My peach was walking around the city because I liked walking past all the stores. My pit was driving home because there were so many bumps. Wren:  My p each was breakfast because we went to a restaurant and ordered Oreo waffles. They were waffles with Oreos in the batter, chocolate syrup on top, ice cream, and Oreo crumble. It was delicious. My pit was that it was very crowded in the city. There were a lot of people bumping into me. Adi:  My peach was watching Wicked because I liked it when the winged monkeys were flying over my head. My pit was being itchy. We even had to stop at CVS to buy lotion. I had to smell them all to find one that was just right. Dad: 

I washed my hair at the hair salon. Then I went back.  Next I went back to the chair. Then I cutted my hair.  Then I put gel in my hair.

 

 

 I was in the garden. Then, I watered the plants. Then I helped my mom clean up.

I went to a lot of stores today. We bought a lot of flowers. Then i went home.

I read Peter Rabbit. Then I made Peter Rabbit. I used paper. I brought it home for my family. 

When I went to school, I painted an egg. We read a story about the Easter Bunny.  It was good. 

On Monday Mimi picked me up from dance. Then we went to Target. Then we had dinned. Then I had a sleepover.  

 I went for a walk. I was riding my bike. My wheel went up then I went in my garage to get my scooter.  I rode it. Then I went to my sister's friend's house.

Yesterday, I was finishing on my lego set. Then I went to bed. Then I was thinking I will finish tomorrow. \ The next day I finished. I was happy.
